My observation of article and video

The general study of Sociology is often times observed through surveys that
try to answer a question about human behavior.
My observation of the article, Sense and Nonsense about Survey was that you need a
question, and participants to gather information. The survey may answer your question or create more questions. When interviewing individuals for a survey you gather groups of people. You may
use oversampling depending on what you need to know. There are more than one possibility in the outcome. You can be surprised by the result. Some sociologist use interviews. The best chance of a good result is using an equal amount of the population. The selection of wording is important in gathering people opinions also. In my own experience I see a wide range of individuals with different goals and backgrounds in school. Survey would be easy to gather in the school.
Another interesting topic was watching the video. It was only an experiment but it only took three days before the student truly felt like prisoners or guards. Even the parents observed the rules losing sight of the fact their young adults were free to leave at any time. I was shocked by how quickly some people conformed or rebelled. This was an interesting observation.
I have interest in studying behavior and this experiment was very interesting.
